Vue hosting
on Shipped.
Keep building with Vue components. Shipped takes your production app online and connects the backend services when you need them.
Publish your Vue build
For a Vue application that runs in the browser, deploy the generated HTML, JavaScript, and styles as a static site. Use your own domain and let Shipped handle HTTPS and content delivery. Check that direct links to your client-side routes use the fallback behavior your router expects.
Add the services your UI calls
A Vue frontend can talk to an API in JavaScript, Python, Go, or another stack you prefer. Deploy that service alongside the site and give it access to your database and private credentials. Your frontend stays focused on the interface while server code handles trusted operations.
Keep feedback close to development
Share a staging deployment when you need someone to review a new component or workflow. Your agent can ship the local project through MCP without a repository push. Keep test API addresses separate from production configuration so previewing a form does not alter real customer records.
A little more detail
Questions about Vue?
Is Vue hosting the same as Nuxt hosting?
Vue is the UI framework. Nuxt adds application conventions and rendering options around it. A browser-only Vue build can be static; a Nuxt app with server routes or request-time rendering needs its server output deployed too.
Can I keep my current backend?
Yes. Point the Vue app at your existing API and configure that API to allow the app origin where necessary. Move backend services to Shipped independently when it suits your project.
