Dedicated servers

Give your application its own virtual server capacity. Keep the Shipped deployment experience while choosing a dedicated runtime for your workloads.

Choose customer-exclusive runtime capacity

A Dedicated plan gives your application workloads a virtual server instance reserved for your account, rather than a shared application server. Select CPU and memory to suit the software you run. This is exclusivity at the virtual server level; it does not mean the underlying physical machine is reserved only for your organization.

Keep the same way of shipping

Deploy from your coding agent or connected repository, manage secrets, inspect logs, and review application releases through Shipped. You get dedicated runtime capacity without taking on the normal infrastructure setup yourself. Choose it when a workload needs its own server allocation, and evaluate the resource profile against the application’s actual CPU and memory requirements.

Select data services separately

Your app server, PostgreSQL database, cache, and object storage remain separate resources. A dedicated server does not silently turn all of them into dedicated services. Choose the combination you need and review configuration and pricing before purchase, including any migration work required to move an existing application onto the selected server.

A little more detail

Questions about Dedicated servers?

Is Dedicated an exclusive physical server?

No. Dedicated means a customer-exclusive virtual server instance for application runtime. It is not a promise of exclusive physical hardware or a dedicated physical host.

Are a dedicated database and cache included automatically?

No. Those are independent resource choices. Review the server configuration and each connected service before purchase; dedicated app compute does not change the data services’ selected tiers.
