Acceptable Use Policy
A shared foundation for a safe, reliable hosting platform.
Effective date pending legal review
2. Illegal and harmful activity
Do not use the Services to host, distribute, promote, or carry out unlawful activity. Prohibited uses include:
- Child sexual abuse material, exploitation, or trafficking.
- Malware distribution, credential theft, phishing, fraud, or deceptive impersonation.
- Credible threats, targeted harassment, or unlawful disclosure of private information.
- Infringement of copyright, trademark, privacy, or other rights.
- Illegal sale or distribution of goods, services, or stolen data.
3. Security and resource use
Do not access systems or data without authorization, evade tenant isolation, probe another customer’s resources, deploy denial-of-service attacks, or interfere with platform operation. Do not bypass resource limits, billing controls, rate limits, authentication, or abuse protections.
Do not use compromised accounts, deceptive account creation, or undisclosed workloads to obtain resources or credits. Workloads must remain within the capacity and use approved for the service you purchase. Security testing must be limited to systems you are authorized to test and must not disrupt the shared platform or other customers.
If you find a vulnerability in Shipped, report it privately through contact details will be added before publication. Include enough information to reproduce the issue without collecting other users’ data or causing harm. This policy does not itself authorize testing outside your own resources.
4. Email and communications
Use email and messaging features only for lawful communications you are authorized to send. Do not send spam, deceptive messages, or messages that misrepresent the sender. Respect consent, unsubscribe, suppression, sender-verification, and anti-abuse requirements that apply to your messages.
Keep mailing lists accurate, investigate complaints, and comply with sending limits. Sending privileges may be restricted when activity threatens recipients or delivery reputation.
5. Reporting and enforcement
Report suspected abuse to contact details will be added before publication. Include the affected URL or resource, what happened, relevant timestamps, and a way to contact you. Do not send passwords, private keys, or unnecessary sensitive personal information. Intellectual-property concerns can be reported using the guidance on our Legal & Copyright page.
We assess reports and may request information, limit an affected feature, remove content, or suspend or terminate services when appropriate. We consider the severity, urgency, recurrence, and impact of the activity. Where practical and legally permitted, we explain the action and give the account holder an opportunity to respond.
If you believe an action was mistaken, reply through the contact channel provided in the notice with the relevant facts. We may preserve records or report activity when required by law.
