Express hosting
on Shipped.

Keep your Express routes and middleware. Shipped runs the server, connects your domain, and gives your API a home beside the services it uses.

Take your HTTP server online

Your Express app defines how requests move through middleware and route handlers. Deploy it with a production start command and a port the service can reach. Shipped handles the public URL and HTTPS, so you can focus on authentication, validation, and the responses your clients expect.

Add persistence without crowding each route

Connect PostgreSQL for app records, Redis where your design needs shared cache or queue state, and object storage for files. Keep connections and credentials in server configuration. Move large exports, document generation, and other long tasks into workers so they are not tied to one HTTP response.

Follow a request after deployment

Write useful application logs and inspect them beside the deployment that is running. A staging environment gives integrations a test endpoint before you change production. Ship directly from your agent during development, or deploy repository changes through GitHub when that fits your release process.

A little more detail

Questions about Express?

Can my Express app serve both an API and frontend files?

Yes. Your Express service can serve static assets as well as routes. You can also deploy the frontend separately as a static site when you want independent releases or content delivery.

Should I keep sessions only in Express process memory?

Process memory disappears when a service restarts and is not shared between replicas. Use an appropriate shared session store if sessions must survive those changes.
